Improvement log
Ideas, irritants and lessons, written when they happen by the agent — the Product Owner's in neutral words (docs/conventions/writing.md) — and treated at the next retrospective (ADR-0023), which opens with one table of every row. Treated rows move to the retrospective record.
| Date | From | Item | Kind |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-13 | Product Owner | A watchdog that relaunches a run stalled while waiting on background work; for now the status line shows a silent session (RET-001) | agent |
| 2026-10-13 | Product Owner | Parallel threads — several sessions or projects at once, documentation written ahead — once several epics are done (RET-001) | process |
| 2026-10-13 | Product Owner | Thinking sessions on what stays public and what goes private once the paid edition starts (RET-001) | process |
| 2026-10-13 | Product Owner | A playground that asks its own test questions and takes spoken answers, for testers working alone: E12 or the editor applications (RET-001) | tool |
| 2026-10-13 | agent | Later code debt, with the features that need it: a state module for the playground, radii kept per shape kind, boundingBox without spreading large lists, concave free shapes reaching the limit of DERIV-local-radius-clamp, files saved before F07 without an anchor (RET-001) | code |
| 2026-10-13 | agent | The stretched polygon's two monotonic properties are checked by sweeps, not proved (DERIV-stretched-polygon): a proof would let the sweeps go | idea |
| 2026-10-13 | agent | A project MCP server answering backlog questions (next story, a story's criteria, a reference by id) would save reading whole index files; measure first with npm run metrics | agent |
| 2026-10-13 | agent | The documentation site draws Mermaid diagrams in the browser; one ESLint rule is disabled on that line (no-floating-promises, a DOM observer cannot wait): to review at the rules review | tooling |
